A Study Of Stephen’s Teaching In Acts Chapter 7

Welcome. Today we are going to study Acts chapter 7, based on the new geo teachings of Africa the Land of Shem. Brother Stephen was confronted and he gave the elders a historic rundown of the ancestors and their movements. Let’s go review it with him. We are going down history lane. Before we go to Chapter 7, we should get some foundation and background from Chapter 6.

Acts 6

1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Bantus, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

(We removed the term “Hebrew” and replaced it with “Bantu” as it originally was)

2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of the Almighty, and serve tables.

3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of the Almighty increased, and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly, and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against the Almighty.

12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

14 For we have heard him say, that this Msindisi (Jesus) of Zaretan (Nazareth) shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

(note we are using Christ or the Anointed Son’s African name, Msindisi, meaning Savior and the African town he was born, Zaretan for Nazareth. Thank you to the research of Elder Nkosi.)

15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

This is a historical account, so I do not have to interpret anything.

The gist of the story is that the Bantus were busy working menial jobs for the Greeks and were unable to give time and glory to the Word of the Almighty.

Thus, they established seven men to figure a way to fix the situation. Enter Stephen, he became the lead and did indeed help alleviate the conflict. He did so in such a way that it caused problems for certain leaders of the synagogue. They began to bribe people to lie on Stephen and other to stop their progress.

But here is the conflict.

Sub Saharan Africa is the land of the people of Akobe; the land of Juda and Jerusalem is South Africa. The question is this; are they in Jerusalem of south or did they, the Romans, already relocate certain of the kingdom of Juda to the Levant?

Since this is prior to their historical records that state Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD, it would reason to say this is still Jerusalem of south. Jerusalem of South is our way of saying Jerusalem that covers modern-day Botswana, Zimbabwe and major parts of South Africa today. Let us proceed into chapter 7 now.

Acts Chapter 7

1 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The Almighty of glory appeared unto our father Abram, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

Hold up; we should review these. Genesis 11:

27 Now these are the generations of Tera: Tera begat Abram, Naor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

31 And Tera took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

Mesopotamia is the same as Ur or Sumer of the Chaldees. And Charran is Haran. The New Testament is coming from a Greek translation so some letters and words are altered. Back to Acts 7.

3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

Hold up.

Earlier, we were not sure if they were in Jerusalem of the Levant or Jerusalem of South. Stephen has cleared it up that they were in Jerusalem of South. See below in Genesis 12:

1 Now the Almighty had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Here is the command from the Almighty! And below is Abram obeying the command. Genesis 12:

4 So Abram departed, as the Almighty had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

7 And the Almighty appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Almighty, who appeared unto him.

8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east:

The book of Genesis reports that Abram went into the land of Canaan and the Canaanites were in the land. Stephen said Abram left Charran (or Haran) and came to the land “wherein we now dwell.”

This means they were in the land of Canaan, which became the land of Akobe (the Bible calls Israel). They were then in Jerusalem of South, specifically Abram was in Bethel and Ai. How do we know it was “South.”

Genesis 13:1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 3 And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai;

He left Egypt back to the south where his tent had been when he first left Haran, Bethel and Hai or Ai. This confirms Abram was south.

Now we can return to Acts 7

5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

Genesis 13

14 And the Almighty said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

18 Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Almighty.

The land was promised to Abram and his seed, but it wasn’t his land for the taking at Abram’s time. The Canaanite were still in the land. At this point it was just a promise.

Acts 7

6 And the Creator spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said the Creator: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

This again is recorded in Genesis 15

7 And he said unto him, I am the Almighty that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

8 And he said, Almighty Creator, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Stephen knows the deal.

Back to Acts 7

8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abram begat Isaaka, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaaka begat Akobe; and Akobe begat the twelve patriarchs.

This covenant was written about in both Genesis 17 and 22.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Almighty appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty Creator; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

This is the Covenant:

10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

“What About My Son Ishmael?”

18 And Abram said unto the Creator, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

19 And the Almighty said, Sara thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaaka: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

The Covenant of the Circumcision was made with Abram and designated to be passed to Isaaka.

Genesis 21:1 And the Almighty visited Sara as he had said, and the Almighty did unto Sara as he had spoken.

2 For Sara conceived, and bare Abram a son in his old age, at the set time of which the Creator had spoken to him.

3 And Abram called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sara bare to him, Isaaka (Isaac).

4 And Abram circumcised his son Isaaka being eight days old, as the Great Creator had commanded him.

Akobe and His Sons

Genesis 25:20 And Isaaka was forty years old when he took Rebeka to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian (Aramite) of Padan-Aram, the sister to Laban the Aramite.

Scribes changed Shem’s son Aram’s name to Syria. Syria in the Bible is Aram.

26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Akobe (Jacob): and Isaaka was threescore years old when she bare them.

The Twelve Sons of Akobe

Genesis 35

22 Now the sons of Akobe were twelve:

23 The sons of Lea; Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Juda, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:

25 And the sons of Bilha, Rachel’s handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

26 And the sons of Zilpah, Lea’s handmaid: Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Akobe, which were born to him in Padan-Aram.

Stephen is still on point. Let’s continue.

Acts Chapter 7

9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but the Almighty was with him,

This is told in Genesis Chapter 37

17 And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.

18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

21 And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.

27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

We are reading this just as Stephen did in order to retell these events to the elders. Let’s continue.

Acts 7

10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Genesis 39

20 And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

21 But the Almighty was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the Almighty was with him, and that which he did, the Almighty made it to prosper.

Joseph was shown favor. He was made second in command in all of Egypt. The second part of verse ten of Acts states that Yosef was made governor over all of Egypt. Here is the story briefly:

Genesis 41

37 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of the Great Creator is?

39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as the Creator hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

We are able to confirm everything Stephen is relaying to the elders in Jerusalem of South.

Acts 7

11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

12 But when Akobe heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

The Famine in the Land, Genesis 41

54 And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

57 And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

Genesis 42:1 Now when Akobe saw that there was corn in Egypt, Akobe said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?

2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.

5 And the sons of Akobe came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan (Chanaan).

Acts Chapter 7

13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Akobe to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

The Sons Returned Home to the Land of Canaan

But they had to go back to reup on the corn and food. Genesis 42

29 And they came unto Akobe their father unto the land of Canaan, and told him all that befell unto them; saying,

30 The man, who is the lord of the land, spake roughly to us, and took us for spies of the country.

31 And we said unto him, We are true men; we are no spies:

32 We be twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is this day with our father in the land of Canaan.

So they returned to Egypt before the Governor, Yosef, their brother, but they did not know he was their brother. Now Yosef will make himself known to his brothers:

Genesis 45

1 Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.

2 And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

3 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.

4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but the Great Creator: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

9 Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, the Great Creator hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:

Akobe heard the news and packs his bags for Egypt. Leaving the south, heading to the north.

Genesis 46

5 And Akobe rose up from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel carried Akobe their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

6 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Akobe, and all his seed with him:

7 His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.

26 All the souls that came with Akobe into Egypt, which came out of his loins, besides Akobe’s sons’ wives, all the souls were threescore and six;

27 And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Akobe, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten.

This one says threescore and ten, which is 70, but Stephen said threescore and fifteen.

Acts 7

15 So Akobe went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulcher that Abram bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

Genesis 49

1 And Akobe called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

29 And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

30 In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abram bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place.

33 And when Akobe had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

Exodus 1

6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.

This covers Acts 7 verse 15, now verse 16:

Genesis 50

12 And his sons did unto him according as he commanded them:

13 For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abram bought with the field for a possession of a burying-place of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.

Genesis 49

30 In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.

We are still with Stephen’s story.

Back to Acts 7

17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which the Almighty had sworn to Abram, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

18 Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

19 The same dealt subtly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

This is detailed in the Book of Exodus

Exodus 1

7 And the children of Akobe were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Akobe are more and mightier than we:

10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Akobe.

13 And the Egyptians made the children of Akobe to serve with rigour:

14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Bantu midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:

16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Bantu women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

It got brutally harsh for the children of Akobe.

Acts 7

20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Akobe.

24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that the Almighty by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

26 And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

27 But he that did his neighbor wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

28 Wilt thou kill me, as thou did the Egyptian yesterday?

29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

There is a great amount to unpack here. We can start in Exodus Chapter 2:

1 And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

2 And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

Pharaoh’s Daughter Took Moses In

5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.

6 And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Bantus’ children.

7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Bantu women, that she may nurse the child for thee?

8 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother.

9 And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the women took the child, and nursed it.

Grown Moses Cared About His People’s Treatment

10 And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting a Bantu, one of his brethren.

12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Bantus strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?

14 And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

Stephen was full of the Spirit of the Almighty because he’d read the story and knew the history of his people. Let’s continue.

Acts 7

30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Almighty Creator in a flame of fire in a bush.

31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Almighty Creator came unto him,

32 Saying, I am the Almighty of thy fathers, the Almighty of Abram, and the Almighty of Isaaka, and the Almighty of Akobe. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

33 Then said the Almighty to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

This story is nearly taken word-for-word from Exodus Chapter 3:

1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of the Great Creator, even to Horeb.

2 And the angel of the Almighty appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

4 And when the Almighty saw that he turned aside to see, the Almighty called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

6 Moreover he said, I am the Almighty of thy father, the Almighty of Abram, the Almighty of Isaaka, and the Almighty of Akobe. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon the Great Creator.

7 And the Almighty said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Akobe is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Akobe out of Egypt.

What a mission!

Back to Acts 7

35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did the Almighty send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

36 He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

This is witnessed in Exodus 14

21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Almighty caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 And the children of Akobe went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

Exodus 16

35 And the children of Akobe did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

Acts 7

37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Akobe, A prophet shall the Almighty your Creator raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

This was written in Deuteronomy Chapter 18

15 The Almighty thy Creator will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

16 According to all that thou desiredst of the Almighty thy Creator in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Almighty my Creator, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 And the Almighty said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Acts 7

38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

The church in the wilderness at Mount Sinai.

Exodus 19

1 In the third month, when the children of Akobe were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Akobe camped before the mount.

17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with the Great Creator; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Almighty descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Acts 7

39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

Exodus 32

1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Akobe, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord.

6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

7 And the Almighty said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Akobe, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

They turned backwards immediately.

Acts 7

42 Then the Almighty turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Akobe, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

This took place with the children of Akobe from the moment they rebelled against the Almighty.

Ezekiel 20:

39 As for you, O house of Akobe, thus saith the Almighty Creator; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

Acts 7

43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

From the time they left Egypt, they have been dealing with other gods aside from the Almighty who freed them from Egypt.

Amos 5

24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. 25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Akobe?

26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus (Damasak), saith the Almighty, whose name is The Creator of hosts.

Stephen had a pano view like we have today.

Acts 7

44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

Exodus 25

2 Speak unto the children of Akobe, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, 4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, 5 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood, 6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense, 7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate. 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

Everything is in the scriptures that Stephen spoke to the elders.

Acts 7

45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom the Almighty drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

46 Who found favour before the Almighty, and desired to find a tabernacle for the Almighty of Akobe.

47 But Solomon built him an house.

The forefathers brought the Tabernacle of the Tent into the Land of Canaan, where it remained until the days of King David.

Joshua 24

17 For the Almighty our Creator, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

18 And the Almighty drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the Almighty; for he is our Creator.

Joshua 18:1 And the whole congregation of the children of Akobe assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

The Tabernacle is there, then comes the days of King David and he has an idea.

2 Samuel 7

1 And it came to pass, when the king (David) sat in his house, and the Almighty had given him rest round about from all his enemies;

2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of Great Creator dwelleth within curtains.

3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Almighty is with thee.

However, the Almighty did not want David to build the Temple, instead his son Solomon was chosen to build the Temple.

1 Kings 6

1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Akobe were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Akobe, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Almighty.

King Solomon built the House of the Almighty

1 Kings 9

1 And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Almighty, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do,

2 That the Almighty appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.

Acts 7

48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Almighty: or what is the place of my rest?

50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

Isaiah 66

1 Thus saith the Almighty, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Almighty: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Stephen is handy with the scriptures.

Acts 7

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Stephen begins to snap at this point, still referencing scriptures.

Exodus 32

9 And the Almighty said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

Exodus 33

1 And the Almighty said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abram, to Isaaka, and to Akobe, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

2 And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

Isaiah 48

Hear ye this, O house of Akobe, which are called by the name of Abantu, and are come forth out of the waters of Juda, which swear by the name of the Almighty, and make mention of the Creator of Akobe, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

2 For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the Creator of Akobe; The Almighty of hosts is his name.

3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.

This can be a hardheaded people and Stephen knew it.

Acts 7

52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Stephen is still running it down:

2 Chronicles 36

14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the Almighty which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

15 And the Almighty Creator of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:

16 But they mocked the messengers of the Great Creator, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Almighty arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Jeremiah tell us that the Bantu have killed their own prophets:

Jeremiah 2

30 In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

Acts 7

53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

The prophets receive the message from angels of the Almighty and they share it.

Exodus 3

2 And the angel of the Almighty appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Moses received the law by the disposition of angels and the children of Akobe did not keep the law given.

Acts 7

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of the Great Creator, and Msindisi standing on the right hand of the Great Creator,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of the Great Creator.

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon the Great Creator, and saying, Master Msindisi, receive my spirit.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Almighty Creator, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

We just received a great historical message from Stephen, that he gave his life for. His story was viable and could be retrieved from the scriptures, every step of the way. Praise be to the Great Creator, Abasi Ibom, SoNini NaNini of Hosts. Let this resonate with you and your walk forward in the principles of the Almighty, and the into the future.
